Minster is a two-form entry primary school under Wiltshire Council control. The project included a four classroom extension including new office facilities, new staff room, external play areas, refurbishment of existing listed buildings, re-arrangement of school kitchen, extensive landscaping.

  • Early delivery of the refurbished old school buildings allowing the school to remain open during the construction

  • Design and palette of material reflect the existing buildings but introduce new materials such a cedar cladding, coloured render, zinc effect single ply roofing materials
  • Project team worked with the school on coordination of construction and school activities
  • Demolition of post war prefab buildings and instatement of play areas.
